One-to-One

AvMed One-to-One volunteers are making a difference in the lives of others. They’re reaching out on their own time to those who need help with everyday tasks most of us take for granted.

AvMed One-to-One members provide and receive such services as:
  • Telephone reassurance to homebound or hospitalized members;
  • Hospital visitation;
  • Shopping and errands;
  • Light household repairs;
  • Respite care; and
  • Letter writing and emergency planning.
By receiving and/or providing services, AvMed One-to-One gives members the opportunity to build new relationships and to become a special part of someone’s life.

AvMed One-to-One coordinators throughout the state match volunteers with other AvMed Medicare members who need assistance. Matches are made based on the volunteer’s skills and interests.

AvMed is a Medicare Advantage organization with a Medicare contract.
