“You Won’t Want to Work Anywhere Else”
AvMed is Florida’s largest statewide not-for-profit health plan. And our employees are the main reason why. So keeping you happy, challenged, motivated, and rewarded is a corporate priority. Many AvMed employees literally say: “Once you’ve worked for AvMed, you won’t want to work anywhere else.”

AvMed employees embrace our core values: Collaborative, Accountable, Respectful, Ethical, and Service-Driven. Our values drive the way we treat one another as well as the way we deal with our members and the public. AvMed is respected and well-liked by the communities where we do business and by lawmakers and regulators. That’s why we’re successful, and it all comes back to the kind of people we hire.  We are a premier Florida-based employer, offering an array of full-time, part-time, and per diem positions that promise challenge, growth, and satisfaction. Whether your specialty is administrative or medical, an AvMed career path can take you as far as your vision reaches.

We regularly offer opportunities in the following fields: nursing, sales, account services, customer service, claims, medical management, physician services, network development, finance, information systems, and human resources.
