From Our CEO
At AvMed, we believe the single most important part of our work is serving you, our member. We value our members and encourage all our employees to provide each member with the best service possible. Our emphasis on personalized service is one of our differentiators in the marketplace.
When members are kind enough to send us feedback, notes are posted to remind employees that everyone contributes to our success, whether working directly with one of our constituent groups or supporting someone who does.

While our Member Services Department interacts directly with you, our members, our values as a caring and committed organization are exemplified in many other areas of AvMed.
It is routine for our technical support employees to come in after hours during an extended power interruption to ensure that our telephone systems are configured so our members have minimal interruption of their AvMed services. Our Claims Department is continually recognized for putting in extra hours to meet the needs of our members and providers. Our nurse Care Coordinators and nurses in Service Plus provide much needed assistance to members accessing health care services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Many departments regularly work collaboratively to help a member through a claims issue or to ensure that one of our providers will be able to deliver the best care to one of our AvMed members.
AvMed is one large team working for the best outcome in all our interactions, whether it is with one another, our providers, our employer groups or an individual member. That’s how we work to deliver great customer service.
